Bigg Boss 14's Nikki Tamboli On Claims Of Being A Finalist Because Of Rubina Dilaik: 'It Was In My Destiny'- EXCLUSIVE
Bigg Boss 14 is over but the hangover of the much controversial show is still on. Here's what Nikki Tamboli has to say to those who think she entered the finale, courtesy Rubina Dilaik
Nikki Tamboli, who participated in the controversial reality show Bigg Boss 14, managed to reach the finale after beating contestants and challengers. The actress was in top 3 contestants with Rubina Dilaik and Rahul Vaidya whereas she was also the first one to go into the finale. After winning a task, her friend Rubina Dilaik was given the power to send somebody in the finale week from the existing contestants as she herself was nominated for the remaining season and she chose Nikki Tamboli.
However, a lot of people felt Nikki wasn't grateful about it and it was because of Rubina that she reached the finals. Now, talking to us exclusively, Nikki has shared her reason behind it. The actress told SpotboyE.com, "I really don't know what I should say. Mujhe lagta hai finale mein jana meri destiny mein tha. I am a very big believer of destiny. All I would say on this is I love all the fans who supported me in this journey. Either they are my or her fans. I am very thankful to all of them. Because they are the ones that made us what we are today. If Rubina has worked for 12 long years, it was her fans' love which made her who she is. To ye destiny hoti hai aap kahan tak jaate ho aur fans hi hote hain jo aapko ek mukaam tak phauchate hain." Nikki also reveals that although she was confident about being in the finale but wasn't expecting to beat Aly Goni and be in the top 3. She said, "I wasn't expecting it. Because those who were in my competition had been working from the longest time in the industry which I was not. So I really didn't know what was exactly going on in viewers' minds in the outer world. But I knew one thing: that I am going to the finale. But usually what happens in the finale is the contestants who reach there are strong, are popular or whoever has a strong base in the industry. I knew I will be the lambi race ka ghoda magar kitni door tak jaungi ye nahi maloom tha. And the moment it was announced in top 3, I was so grateful and I started remembering those words of the contestants that tum finale nahi phauch paaogi tum Colors ka face nahi ho."
She further added, "I can't even tell you how few of them used to demotivate me. I was tortured by their words. I would not like to take the name now as the show is over and it's of no point digging graves. But one thing I can surely tell you is that my journey inside the house has been really very difficult. As nobody supported me inside. Everybody was just focusing on saving themselves. I am the contestant jiski har kisi se ladai hui hai at one point of time. There was not a single contestant who has not nominated me including Jaan and Rubina also. But I have never nominated my friends."
Nikki is connected to Rubina after the show as she reveals, "I haven't got a chance to meet Rubina but we are definitely talking on phone and video calls also."
